F.A.Q
Muscle Testing, Biomagnetic Pair Therapy & Body Communication
What can Biomagnetic Pair Therapy help me with?
Clients choose Biomagnetic Pair Therapy as a complementary wellness approach to support overall balance, physical comfort, relaxation, and a deeper connection with what their body may be communicating.
Each session is individualized based on your body's responses and current priorities. Biomagnetic Pair Therapy is not a medical treatment, does not diagnose disease, and is not a replacement for care from a licensed medical professional.
What does a Biomagnetic Pair Therapy session look like?
You will lie comfortably on a treatment table while remaining fully clothed.
We begin with a muscle-testing assessment to help guide the session and identify areas or biomagnetic pairs to explore. Magnets may then be placed on selected areas of the body while you rest comfortably.
Throughout the session, we pay attention to your body's responses, your comfort, and what may be supportive for you moving forward.
Is Biomagnetic Pair Therapy safe?
Biomagnetic Pair Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive wellness practice. It does not involve needles, medications, or substances being introduced into the body.
For safety, Biomagnetic Pair Therapy is not offered to individuals with pacemakers or other implanted electronic medical devices. It is also not recommended during pregnancy, while trying to become pregnant, while undergoing fertility treatment, or during chemotherapy treatment.
We will review your health history and any relevant precautions before beginning your session.
What is muscle testing and how does it work?
Muscle testing, sometimes referred to as applied kinesiology, is a wellness-oriented biofeedback technique used to help guide an individualized session.
Gentle pressure is applied to a muscle while observing how the body responds to different questions, areas, or stimuli. I use these responses as a way of exploring what the body may be prioritizing and which areas may benefit from further attention.
Muscle testing is not a medical diagnostic test and is not used to diagnose diseases or medical conditions.
What should I wear to my session?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move and relax easily.
Please also wear closed-toe shoes. Tennis shoes or similar athletic shoes work best for the muscle-testing portion of the session.
How long is a session?
A typical session lasts approximately one hour.
How many sessions will I need?
Every person is different, so there is no predetermined number of sessions.
Rather than following a fixed protocol, we reassess based on your body's responses and what it appears to be prioritizing at each session. Some people may choose to come for a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing wellness support.
Will I feel anything from the magnets?
Most people do not physically feel the magnetic field itself. During a session, some people may notice sensations such as relaxation, tingling, warmth, shifts in physical comfort, or simply a deep sense of rest.
Everyone's experience is different, and it is also completely normal not to notice any particular sensation.
Do I need to stop medications or supplements before my session?
No. You should not stop any prescribed medications unless instructed to do so by your licensed healthcare provider.
You may continue taking your medications and supplements as directed. If there is anything specific you should do before your session, we will discuss it with you ahead of time.
Can children receive Biomagnetic Pair Therapy?
Yes. We work with children ages 3 and older.
For all sessions involving minors, a parent or legal guardian must remain present throughout the session.
What if I have a medical condition?
Clients with medical conditions should continue working with their licensed healthcare providers and following their recommended medical care.
Before beginning a session, we will review your health history, current treatments, and any relevant precautions to help determine whether our wellness services are appropriate for you.
Do you also work at the emotional level?
Yes. Emotional stress can be an important part of the body's overall experience.
If muscle testing indicates that emotional support is an area the body is prioritizing, I may incorporate techniques such as somatic practices, emotional release work, and emotional neutralization techniques into the session.
The goal is not to force an emotional process, but to follow what the body appears ready to explore and support at that time.
